I am going to analyze the sample, are there any instructions?
For all of our proficiency tests we send instructions, however for those proficiency tests when the method and procedure of analysis is selected by each participant, unless pointed out differently you can prepare the sample for the analysis with your usual procedure.
For those proficiency tests that require any special treatment will be clearly pointed out in our instructions that we send by email and/or attached to the sample.
How should I store the samples?
TestQual send along with the package and/or previously by email the instructions of the proficiency tests to handle and store the samples. In these instructions you can find the information of how to correctly store the sample.
What can I do if my sample arrived with problems (unfrozen, package broken, refrigerated) or did not arrive?
·If you did not receive the sample we recommend to review the proficiency test protol that can be found in our website, in your client area or request it to the proficency coordinator to check if the distribution of sampes got delayed or if it has been sent and might have got lost or experienced any exception during the transtit.
·If you received the sample but it was unfrozen or thawed, first thing we recommend to do and in the less time possible would be taking pictures and/or a short video (p.e. rotating the container) of how the sample arrived. Then and in the less time possible store the sample in a freezer and contact right away with the proficiency test coordinator.
According to our participation's conditions if you notify us within 2 working days from the moment of arrival of the sample that it arrived unfrozen, then you will receive another sample to substitute the defective.
For any other case in which you doubt if the sample arrived at proper temperature (p.e. not frozen but refrigerated), we recommend you contact the coordinator for further instructions and customized study of the situation.
